Caught a chunk this morning...curious what yall think she weighed...Scale only showed 5lb 7oz...Of course I felt she was bigger. What do yall think?

Typo, you meant 6.4. Jokes aside, I honestly am not used to fish more than 3lbs, so I think I was just excited and the adrenaline was pumping haha. So badly want to believe she weighed more.

Nice fish. Your scale is probably right on tho.

If you want to know, go to Tom Thumb or Kroger and take a 10# bag of sugar to the meat counter. Ask them to weigh it and give you the exact weight. Now hang it on your scale and see what it shows. Thats how I check mine.

how long was she? Sometimes the length will give you a ball park of what to expect except in the winter/spring during the spawn.
