The fishing trip shown in the video below took place on Lake Belton this past Thursday, 05 August 2021. I'm posting this to help get the word out about this free program. It is called SKIFF (Soldiers' Kids Involved in Fishing Fun) and has existed for 12 years now. Major contributors are the Austin Fly Fishers, the McBride Foundation, the Sun City Women Helping Others (WHO) chapter, and the Sun City Rod & Gun Club. I'm not asking for money; I'm asking you to refer military kids to get them out on the water. If you know of military kids separated from their parents by military duty (not just deployments overseas), please refer them my way for a free guided fishing trip. 254.368.7411.
