Well FedEx just dropped off my new Ultrex! I’ll be installing it tomorrow. Anything I need to know or any issues anyone run into I should know about? Thanks guys. I’m excited about finally getting the spot lock and adding a mega DI too!

Be very careful to not pull the cable to "deploy" the trolling motor without the motor in the bracket. It will spring apart with tremendous force--enough to cause some serious damage to life/limb/property.

Congrats cheers.
Don’t forget to install the Velcro strap before mounting, not after bang.

They're fairly heavy, can be installed by one person, but easier with two.

Be careful where you place the GPS puck,... the pros installed mine at the rear of the boat, not at the front.
Need to be aware of electromagnetic interference...

Require a whole lot of luck...

It's not a "gps puck" it's a magnetic heading sensor and it needs to be as close to midline of your boat as possible.

After you install, make sure you do the calibration as in the instructions...

I had to have help synchronizing the remote & the graph to the T-motor. Awesome T-motor 👍

Many wires have been cut. Make sure the wires won't be in a bind and out of harms way.

There is a way you can loop them and they will be fine, Zach at SW marine looped mine and they did not bind or would they ever be in danger of being cut

The Ultrex mount is done and I took it down to the ramp and set it up. Works awesome. Spot lock is amazing! The new Hummingbird will be here tomorrow and I can complete the install. [Linked Image]
