I can't help myself..... My mother taught me that the Devil finds work for idol hands.... Well my hands keep busy..... The hands are not very skilled, but Beelzebub will have to go elsewhere for cheap labor. LOL!!!

Creature for the Dark Lagoons.

Or the late evening - early morning fish snack. Due to its ability to capture and return a first or last light of day but brighter still, type of glow.

No I don't really talk like that...... Honestly I don't think I do.... Hmmmmm! AAACKKK!!!!

But the fly should do as intended in overcast or low light conditions. LOL!!!

The ones above were tied with the Postfly kit I received this month.

[Linked Image]

The one on your left reminds me of a beta fish I once had. I always wondered if he would have been good bait. Now maybe I’ll know….. LOL!!!!

The one on your right is a copper cone head nymph tied with goose biot feathers just like our yankee brothers up north of Dallas use for trout and such. But I built it Texas size. I used a Sz 8 hook rather than the 14 or 16 that the original recipe called for. I’m guessing they would both be good for small mouth and maybe striper..

A baker's dozen of simple baitfish simulations and no two share the same color combination and or pattern. On your left is my Spring and Summer collection and to the right are the ensembles for Fall and Winter. LOL!!!

Then you can see a close replication as a fly of a big bug I saw in a pond near my home. I think it turned out to be my best attempt so far of tying a realistic bug.

I got bored and started tying goose biots on a hook one by one this is what I ended up with. Both flies have been deep sink swim tested and have my "I'd bite it if I had fins" test LOL!!!

They swim pretty flat with no noticeable spin.
