These look sweet for a tin bass boat, never heard of them, built in Utah?

Think about this....They are making a 20' boat that is 200hp rated...can supposedly run 70 MPH...all for around $50k
My question...why then are we paying $75+ for the same in fiberglass???
I mean it would get you a boat with space and length...but a lower cost. I can see a market for it.

70mph with a 200hp seems a bit unlikely, in my opinion. If that rig does reach 70, it better be as flat as glass out, not much of a V to be break waves on it.
That boat would snap in half breaking waves on most of our lakes and all of your teeth would be rattled loose.

Because in rough water the glass boat will still ride better than Aluminum. And aluminum catches the wind like a kite.

If the hull is designed like a fiberglass boat...then wouldn't this aid in wind movement? Is it because of the weight? Keep in mind...I'm a glass boat person myself. Just looking at this as a potential option for those that don't have $$$ to drop on a glass rig.

I would rather go find a 2001-2009 BassCat, Champion or Legend in good condition sell the motor, put on a new 4 stroke and update all electronics, wiring and carpet and have a boat that fishes and handles rough water 10 times better than any aluminum boat and still be under the $50K mark

the reason you are paying more for a glass boat is because that is where the market is at there has never been a aluminum boat ride an fish like a glass boat does because if they did you would not see as many of the big glass rigs sold. most folks leave tin to go up to glass not the other way around.

Diamond Sports Marine at Lake Fork is an Excel dealer. Their center console bay boat is sweet too.

Excel has been around for a while in the mud boat industry, same person that start Mudbuddy started excel boats I believe. They are cool looking rigs but the older ones sucked and were made out of softer aluminum and did not hold up well. Not very popular around here in the mud motor rigs.
An aluminum rig is just nowhere close to a fiberglass rig. I know, I have both and fish from both kinds.
I have a Gatortrax aluminum boat and a Champion bass boat, each is made for something different but the aluminum rig does not even come close to comparing to a fiberglass rig in ride, stability, and comfort.
