Thatโs fishing float! This time of year is the toughest to consistently put fish in the boat in the daytime even on a top Bluecat fishery like Lavon. Need some of that good luck ๐ like my boys Catfish Tim and CVitale been having! Stay after em man and they will come! Weโre off the water this weekend visiting Jaxonโs Grandad but Iโm not missing it after working out in this heat all week!

A bad day on the water makes a good day so much better!

Skunk. Pretty much the same for us yesterday Float. Me and B hit the water early. We went out Friday afternoon and caught bait and gassed up the boat so we didn't waste any time. We had baits down at 5:20 am. No wind, sweltering even at that time of day. We used the trolling motor to drag baits over the ledges with fish stacked on 'em. Couple dink taps was all we got. moved around a lot. marked fish on the ledges but only managed three fish. Big one was about 5 pounds. By 9:30 we were ready to get out of the boat and get in the pool so that's what we did...

She is a good lady... At least she's been good to me! I don't think you'll be disappointed... We still take a skunk once or twice a year during the spawn or in the dog days but most of the year we can count on catching quality fish. I'm to the point where I'm looking forward to cold weather mainly to put the yacht club back on the couch so the fishermen can have the water.
