The Texas Rangers will receive RHP Glenn Otto, 2B Ezequiel Duran, SS Josh Smith and 2B/OF Trevor Hauver as part of the package from the New York Yankees in the Joey Gallo trade, sources tell ESPN. Rangers are getting massive haul of prospects in this deal. Others involved, too.

They got a whole load of [censored] in return for their best player once again. Front office bs!! If they are lucky 1 of the 6 prospects might see big leagues!! I’m not against Gallo trade although he wants to stay but for once I would like to see something worthy in return!! Numbers of [censored] just mean more chit to shovel!

Next to the Cowboys the Rangers are the most dysfunctional franchise in sports, The Mavericks hover around that cloud too. I think there must be something in the water.

How do the Rangers ever expect to win if they trade their best players? The Rangers will suck for a long time.

Strikeouts are too high but also leads league in walks and OBP. Love to see more contact with runningsnin scorings position but talent is there to get far more than at best 6 prospects with likely 1 who sees some regular time and at best a second who is back and forth. Talent evaluation. horrible on this team and eikkinfnesss to give up a possible stuff for that is stupid!! Now don’t get me wrong Gallo may continue to be low .200 hotter 40k and 200 strikeouts but ss been improving and defense is good. To trade for nothing proven is [censored]
