Just joined the forum. Hoping to meet people and learn more about some of the lakes I would like to go to and possibly find someone to enter tournaments with down the road. I a, planning to do the Swimbait Underground tournaments this season. Lakes I plan to try out more this year are OH Ivie, Grapevine, and Ray Roberts and maybe a few trips to LOTP and Brady Reservoir. I do a lot of big swimbaiting theses days, but never say no to a good jig or chatter bait bite. Hopefully this forum will let me channel my need to talk about fishing, because my friends and girlfriend are pretty over it by now.

to the TFF. There is a forum for just about any topic about fishing. Read the post on each thread and you will get some good information that will be beneficial to you. You can also ask questions on a lot of these threads. Take your time looking at the forums. Glad to have you on board.

Welcome, lots of good folks on here. I grew up in Midland, been a while since I have been back.

I grew up in Midland as well. Been there most of my life. It has gone downhill pretty badly with crime and the city not really caring for our roads and parks. But the saddest part was not being close to any water lol. Been getting people I grew up with to go with me and they have never seen a bass before.

I have seen a lot of good stuff so far. Looking forward to branching out with info from other anglers.

From your post it looks like you may be after largemouth bass. The bass forum is the most popular page on the forum. You may want to post your request on the bass forum to find some anglers you can fish with. Ivie is on fire related to monster bass so I am sure there will be anglers headed that way.

Most real fishermen hang out in the off topic section. You would have eventually learned that, so I figured I’d help rip that band aide off now.
