I have a 1998 Evinrude 85 hp. I have bought 2 used sets of controls and both were wore out. I would like to buy a new set from Ebay but I don't know how to convert the wiring. My wiring is the one with the red connector, is there a conversion kit that I can get to make the proper connections?
Thanks for any help you guys can give
Pat

Fits the Following Applications

This control works with 1996 and new outboards. This control can be used on 1973-1995 motors with the purchase of wiring harness adapter part number 0768411 (768411 replaces prior part number 176711)
