Just recently got my girlfriend into fishing (mainly fishing off the bank for catfish/perch/anything that will bite). Wanting to take her on a guided trip for her birthday 2nd weekend of September. Not necessarily looking to catch a lunker (although that would be nice), mainly just trying to get thoughts on best lake for that time of year that would provide the best chance for catching a bunch of fish.

We live in fort worth area but willing to travel 3 hours or so.

Any recommendation/thoughts would be appreciated!

Contact Lane at ftworthfishing.com or Chuck at bigcrappie.com

Have fished with both multiple times and always enjoyed the trips.

I have Sunday, September 12 open. We are catching Hybrids, Sand Bass, Blue and Channel Catfish on lures and live bait. I am up on Lake Bridgeport, about an hour NW of Ft. Worth.

If you want to catch plenty of striper, come to Texoma. Fishing is awesome, 10 fish limit and you can keep 2 over 20”. I have guides that use bait, troll, throw topwater, so lots of options to catch them. Give me a call if you are interested.
