But...
My daughter Kiera left this morning for the artistic rollerskating national championships in Cedar Rapid. She is competing senior class at 13. This is her last year at the lower level. World class is next. Her 1st event is at 7pm...

Her mom has a couple of gold medals.

She was a last minute sub tonight helping a team choreography out of Houston. One of the girls had an emergency and was not able to make it. Kiera learned the routine 2 days ago. They didn't podium. IMHO, had they made top 3 with 0 practice, I would be questioning these judges.
She is competing in Senior Couples Freestyle. She will also have a long and short program, along with figures. There is a site that host all the events real time. Not sure about posting the link cause it is my daughter. I am stuck with 2 boys at home and will be forced to watch her on TV. Kinda bummed.

She brought home a bronze in pairs.
Her partner had a spill, but they did great.

Next year she skates world class and will be trying out for the US team. Most of her competition was there tonight. Gonna have to start saving money for this...gonna get expensive.
