A friend of mine wanted to take me fishing at Lake Arlington for setting up his boat and I've been so busy that I haven't had a chance to fish much.
He also knew that I was anxious because my daughter was getting close to delivering my first grandson and we couldn't be at the hospital.
We were catching a fair amount of keepers when I got the got the best 'Thump' ever!!! The text that let me know that my new fishing partner had arrived.

Introducing Fletcher (aka "Lil Crappie Man) who came 7/24 at 11:35am and weighed 8lbs 12oz and was 20.5 inches long.

And 'Yes' I have been excited. This has been in my rod box for the last 5 months since I found out my daughter was expecting my first grandson.
