Taking my son in law and grandson out this Saturday the 24th. Would love to put them on some fish. Any suggestions are much appreciated!

In my honest opinion,Just pick a lake that you know of some cover (timber, brush, bridges) in 15-25 ft and bring some minnows and you should do well. Fish are in summer pattern and biting well. Benbrook is a good option and is not far. If you want to drive, Lavon is fishing about the easiest around.

Pick a lake that doesn't have a lot of wake boat traffic. If you go to one that has these boats, plan to leave by 10:30.
