…but there are a couple of real a-holes here that make life miserable for everyone. Unfortunately, they are in leadership positions and are poor leaders, more like narcissistic d-bags. Problem is company culture does not allow standing up to them, many a career ended by standing up for the truth and holding onto your values. Thank God I only have 20 months to retirement. Cannot imagine what I would do if I had 20 years left. Rant over.

Seems to be a common theme with many companies. Why is this? Only leads to decay and decline of the business.
Good Luck, Bozz

I’m in the exact same boat. I’ve been treated like garbage several times over the last 6 months and at first my feelings got hurt. Now I just tell this guy in charge how I feel about him. He literally throws temper tantrums at me. It’s now just funny.

I’ve had a total gut full of corporate America. I got out of it about 20 years ago.

If you really want to be frustrated, go to work for a government agency. The most incompetent workers get promoted because they don't want them doing the work any more. If you're horrible at fixing potholes, you're made the supervisor so the ones who are good at it can do the work.
I proved it to myself one time after I got tired of getting constantly called on the carpet for doing my job. I sandbagged for 6 months and was offered a promotion. I quit soon after.

The big deal now is addressing my unconscious biases, so even though I feel like I’m totally unbiased, apparently I didn’t know I have unconscious bias

My best friend of 40 yrs has become a corporate zoombweebie. Really just doesn't get it anymore, to the point I don't even like hanging out with him anymore. Sadly, I think he's becoming a liberal too.

I saw some of this creeping into Ford motor co and it’s dealers before my retirement from that world in 2014 , no way I could function today in that setting.

Try working for a global corporation, woke is an understatement. Trying to stomach 34 more months before I'm eligible to retire from them.
