Plus try and find a 2003 F150 7700 model . All those keeled over by 2005.

If you go with Powertrain do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on the installation kit , well worth the money . and like my mechanic said he can not buy the parts that cheap . That way all you have to buy is oil and coolant . What all come with the installation kit ?

What is a 7700 model?
The 3 door regular bed?
Hard pass Call it a heavy 1/2 or a light 3/4.....has a stylish 7 lug wheel. Most passed on them and went with a Superduty.....kinda why they're somewhat hard to find.

A heavy duty F150 , they were made in Canada , Has the following :
- 7 Lug Rims -
- They have a larger frame then the F150
- Bigger Brakes
- 3:73 rear end from factory
- 4R100 Tranny
- Extra leaf in back
- Larger Torsion bars -
- Heavier towing capacity
- Weigh more -
- Larger rotors, I believe 13.5"
- HD shocks
- power steering cooler
- 4700 lbs rear axle
- HD rad, thicker
- HD alternator
- HD battery
- LT tires standard, load range D
- the tranny is the same as a F250 SD and the F350 SD
- 8,600 lbs towing
- 11,500 lbs GCVWR
- 7,700 lbs payload
It has been pretty much Bullitt proof working all the Mine sites we do since I got it in 2005 . It pulled my Gator and went all over rock quarry's and Cement plants from Oklahoma to Houston once a month and all I ever did was replace a few coil packs .

I just got this from the Powertrain website on the installation kit $399.00
Add an engine installation kit to your purchase today. All filters,tune up (dist cap, rotor, plug wires & spark plugs), Belts, radiator hoses, new water pump, new mechanical fuel pump (when applicable) thermostat & radiator cap. Parts differ from engine to engine depending on the needs. Please supply your complete application with VIN number & whether the vehicle is equipped with certain accessories such as power steering, air conditioning, automatic or manual transmission, & two wheel or four wheel drive.
And they told me that what ever problems Ford may have had on each motor the do the up grades . Like my 2003 the replaced the junk plastic timing chain tensioner with a medal one . ect .Give them a call Monday I believe you will really be impressed
