We are looking at a house near Texoma. I read a bunch about the striper fishing but not much about sandies. Anyone on here fish texoma sandies regularly? Would appreciate any info on how you do. Also if anyone could chime in on smallmouth I would be very interested. I've never caught a smallie and my understanding is they bite pretty well. Thanks.

Last time I caught a lot of sandies was on ghost minnows off Treasure Island. For smallies i like to throw clear torpedos on the shoreline between Einsenhower and the water intake. I also like PopRs. I stick to the main lake and mouths of the coves. Before they put stripes in the lake we trolled the bank to the east of Mill Creek marina and got lots of sandies.
