Going down on the 8th.
What is best this time of year?
I can take my stage lights for night fishing. Take my flatbottom if I get the motor running.
Or just fish off the surf or jetties?
Wishing we were going a month and a half later but oh well.

IMO - August & September to wade "wet". fish surf with top water early (late?), lures plus Live Bait (croakers, shrimp, etc).
