plan on trolling, night fishing or whatever works. ive only fished there for white bass in the past, can anyone point me to where the striper may be hanging out? going august 5-8

Today they were hanging in 36' of water between the islands and the trees sticking up. Guides were trolling for the most part. The fish are scattered. We saw very little topwater action. I would start there and follow the ledges off the river channel to the south. we marked a lot of fish south of the islands but they were not biting.
