Hey all, new here.

Just on my way back from Missouri, and a cousin took me crappie fishing all week!! I have only ever targeted bass, catch and release. I will now always be bringing my crappie rig too. Crappies taste damn good and are fun to catch!

I have a kayak and just wondering what would be the best way to find these little yummies on Eagle Mountain but also Marine Creek?

Any tips would help as I've never targeted them before.

Are they still spawning here in Texas and on the banks??

wow...no responses...sounds like they don't want you in their spots. I had the same question smile

Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, he'll be gone every weekend.

I catch them off the docks at the marinas, but you need access for that.

On the lake, the docks on the southeast side of the lake are in deeper water. Folks do pretty well fishing those. But, if i were in a kayak, I'd fish under the Morris Dido bridge that runs over Indian Creek.
