Here are some tricks I’ve learned over the years to keep bass alive fishing summer tournaments.

Ice, fizz them and add a livewell treatment, those will keep them alive and well.

Yes sir...haven't lost a fish since adding these to my wells. I also use Please Release Me...when I transport fish from water to weigh in site.

Please dont tell me you had trouble hearing and understanding him. I am about half deaf and could hear him no problem. In fact I wouldnt have known he wasnt wearing a mic had you not said something.

Too much ice will kill them. Unless it's non-chlorinated ice. You could also use prime or API Stress coat to remove the chlorine.

Correct, see the chart on page 4. https://www.bassmaster.com/sites/de...ce/KeepingBassAlive_guidebook%20comp.pdf If waster temp is over 75 put your flowrite on recirc, flush with fresh lake water every 3 hours. 8lbs of ice will cool a 30 gallon livelwell 10° for 3-4 hours. These steps will keep them alive for weigh in but more importantly will reduce delayed mortality too.

They don't find their way into my livewell enough to worry about keeping them alive...
