I was up at the BPS Missouri tank and the pondmaster was telling a story about Ethel and her other largemouth friend in the aquarium with her. Apparently, the night before they had stocked 25 - 1 pound plus sunfish to add to the exhibit. Ethel and friend appreciated the "feeding" as the next morning there were two of the twenty five left over and one of them was relatively scaleless.

I think the point Ken is making is that bass are probably tougher than we give em credit for. Regardless of "competition " she was obviously able to feed very well. Hellava fish!

Had to look up "OG" in the urban dictionary. I wasn't sure if I needed to be offended or not. flag

And just for the record, I still consider Mark Stevenson's fish to be the official State Record.
