Anybody know what happened to all the grass? It’s all gone!!!
That’s what was I told.

Its not all gone but it is dying back. The water temp is over 100 degrees.

Was there last week. Found out livescope won't work in 100 degree plus water.

I was there two weeks ago and there was plenty of grass. If it is gone, must be recent.

There is less grass out there than a couple of months ago, but it is not gone. Whoever said that was lying.

Do you know something different about Welsh than what I posted? If so, inform us. Have you been to Welsh recently, like the past week? Is all the grass gone??? I haven't been there in two weeks, but it still had a lot of grass in it when I was there, so let us know what the current status of the grass is since you must know something different.

It alwasy dies some back once the generation schedule runs at a rate where the North end is 100+ degrees. The south end will bein the mid 90's at that point. Also, I am guessing the Livescope issue the guy mentioned must have been in the discharge itself as I had my give me an overheating alarm a month or so ago because the temps there were 108!!

Was there last week on Thursday, WT was 105, only caught 3 fish. Thank goodness we brought some shrimp for catfish or it would have been a TERRIBLE day. The far end of the lake is grassed in but it has declined some down towards the intake side.
