Maybe people should look at a Texas map. Our Southern border is the Gulf of Mexico. Mexico the country is West of Texas You are the only person I’ve ever heard say we have a west border instead of south.  I’d bet you failed geography in grade school.

I guess you’re about 50% correct. Amistad is on our southern border. Sounds like my ex partner.. EVERYTIME we crossed the bridge before getting to the Exxon comming from Comstock.. When the pickup showed we were heading South.... He would exclaim "I can't believe were headed South" !! But then he stayed lost half the time..

There are a few places where the Red River circles back on itself to create little pieces of Oklahoma south of Texas.
