I wouldn't bother with selling it online. To much of a hassle giving demo rides, not getting ripped off, scammed etc.. Let Brian give you a bid. Why not help our fellow TFF'ers first?

I would give Brian first chance and get a second bid from Carmax. FB and CL can be a massive beating. An easy transaction at a competitive price is really what you want.

Wreck it and let INS buy it off you. I had a guy texting and driving hit me in my 2002 Ranger XL 2 wheel drive. His insurance company declared it a total. Truck had 268000 miles, 4 cyl engine and a 5 speed manual tranny and they cut me a check for $4200. At best I could have got $2000 in a sale and the bluebook on it was only $1200 but they paid $4200. There's a crook around every corner. It's a major hassle to try and sell private party. Wholesalers/resellers will ring your phone off the hook right now. They need cars real bad. If the car is in great shape, you hold the bag. I just sold one to a wholesaler and was absolutely floored what they paid for it. The nicer the car the longer you hold out. They will be coming outta the wood work, and eventually they will come up to your price.

This! I sold a truck to them and got more than I was asking locally. Just bring the title in hand, you will be out of there in an hour with a check. Do they negotiate on the trade in value? Did you take your license plates with you?

I called corporate office when the local one would not negotiate.

I donโt think they negotiate on trade value, either, but they definitely donโt negotiate on price.

Did you take your license plates with you? They took the plates off and gave them to me before I left. I had just had it inspected that morning. They scraped the inspection sticker off and gave that to me too.
