i'm not really sure what it's made of but it's a pretty good daytime snack that helps get me through the day sometimes.
I give it two thumbs up Is it made out of skate? Haddock. It can be flavored to be anything you want.

I eat it occasionally. It's not that good but sometimes better than nothing.
Contrary to popular belief, imitation crab is actually made with real fish meat — generally not crab meat though. It's usually made from surimi, or white fish flesh that has been deboned and minced into a paste, which is then mixed with other ingredients including both natural and artificial flavors, starch, sugar, and sodium.
Most often the preferred white fish for surimi is Alaskan Pollock, which is also commonly used in frozen fish sticks or fast-food breaded fish products

I loved the stuff until I checked the carb content one day. I think the bonding agent they use in surimi must contain a lot of starch and sugar. Might as well have a banana split.

I used to sell it when I ran a meat mkt./seafood dept., it came in one gallon containers that we repackaged. We called it seafood salad though. We put out samples every day and had one lady who came in like a clock just to feed on the samples. We loved it when she showed up and no freebies were to be found. She even asked when we were going to put them out one day. PEOPLE................. it was good stuff though. I did sell crab salad, but it was a different color and different texture. It also tasted better than the seafood salad to.
