Celebrating our 30th anniversary and we had a really fun day! Lots of rain in this area after Elsa blew thru so we went to a small lake with our guide. Caught around 25 or so. Lost another 15 +. Only one true "dink", under a pound. Best 5 seen here went close to 30 pounds. Fun day when you're tossing back 4 and 5 pounders to upgrade your catch!

Did y'all catch them on shiners? I've always wanted to do some shiner fishing in Florida
About 1/2 and 1/2. Wife is not really great at worm fishing so I let her fish shiners. We only fished first light til noon. Big fish was just over 7 and I caught it on a 10" power worm. She got a LOT more bites on shiners but couldn't hook up with quite a few. I probably caught 10 on plastic on 12 or 13 bites. All over 4 pounds except the one dink.
