Went in the afternoon. Was overcast and south 15-20 winds. Bait was easy. 100+ threadfin in one throw. A few gizzards mixed in. Perfect for me cause the cast net usually gets the better of me...
Went to a ledge on main lake. Goes from 15-35ft pretty rapidly. Setup on anchor parallel to ledge. Graph looked like this picture for several hours strait.
Took some fellas with me they were dropping slabs catchin every cast for 4 hours. The cats were mixed in but the white bass would ruin the bait first so the catfish came from 25-30 ft as we casted out past the dropoff a bit.
It was fun to anchor up and fish multiple ways...
Live and cut shad caught us Chanel's, blues, a drum, white bass, yellow bass, and a largemouth.
Well over nearly 200 fish caught. All but 5 small channels and 5 Sandies were unharmed.
