There's multiple tournaments there every weekend from all over the state. This one's no different, they'll be jockeying against 2 others the same weekend.

There were at least 3 regions then, Metroplex, East Texas, South Texas.
Trevor Romans and his partner won 2 divisions and I think Stocker won the South region.

Also the last line the championship was there the lake was at 20.1% full right now it is at 53%.

Joe was meaning there were two regions in the Ivie championship and not four, they had four regions and two championships. It was a regular season tournament in 2011 was 20% (not even sure %correct) and had 159 teams, that was the last time they were here.

I fished that one, was trailer event, it fished a little small then. Most of the usual spots you had 15 boats around you.

I think the year Trevor and Leslie Kennedy won the second division it was at LBJ, winning the Central Div and North Division a couple weeks later. Leslie fished in a club I was in that had sent a guy to the Bassmasters Classic, Craig Schuff, and we had the State Federation champion the next year. Lots of sticks......and me.

Thinking back about Leslie, I remember the year the state Federation championship was on Ivie. We were driving to the meeting and Joe Smith and Les were riding with me.
They got into a conversation talking about how they both grew up hunting and trapping. There I was not a hunter listening to them talk about hide prices and traps. Leslie grew up in Oklahoma and was a mechanic for Jimmy Houston before he moved to Texas. Joe and I fished BC a couple years and did well.

A funny story about that tournament. Another friend Jerry David qualified for the Bass federation national championships at that tournament on Ivie. One morning while loading his partner had backed the boat and was returning to get in the boat with Jerry. Jerry had put the boat in reverse as the kid had one foot on the dock and the other in the boat. Splash.......... to top it off, when he came up Jerry said he had forgotten to put the plug in and the kid went under again on purpose this time.
Les, Joe and Jerry if you are out there we had fun, didn't we.
