Hi everyone,
I need all of your help on this one. Back in the early to Mid 1990's, there was a tackle shop on 377 & I-20 (Now a gas station or fast food restaurant). Does anyone know the owner or their relatives who own the tackle shop? I need to get in contact with them for personal reasons. Any help would be appreciated. My email is ngo449@yahoo.com and my cell is 817-233-2102. Thank you all for your help in advance. Have a great day. Thanh.

Being born and raised in this area, I’m having a hard time thinking of any tackle shop that’s been at this intersection. The only two that come to mind are Olsen’s Pro Am and another one in Whiskey Flats on 377 and 1187 that shut down years ago. Would either of those two be it?

Used to be one about where Russel Feed store is on 377 just south of I-20 in Benbrook. It got torn down before the feed store went up. Don't know the owners or family. But used to buy minners there once in a while. As well as big balsa floats for jig fishing stripers below Grandbury dam and other lakes, (There was also one at 377 and 1187 West north of the intersection on the west side of the road just before you got to Whiskey Flats go-n south before the bridge. Had a liquor store right next to it. Both those been torn down too.)

This is the one I know of. Southwest corner of the intersection at 377 and Mercedes. I don't remember them tearing it down but Russell's feed is torn down now. My moms cousin might know who owned this store. I still have a few herbs dillys from there.
