Hey all, I am new to the area and live in Prosper. Is it just me or does it seem like there is better big bass bank fishing south of Prosper like in the lewisville / south Carollton areas where there are older and larger bodies of water? Been fishing some local ponds around here and theyre all pretty small and most havent been around long due to new construction so cant imagine they hold much size (could be wrong). I have caught one 5.5 pounder in Mckinney in the last month ive been here but mostly 1.5-2 pounders and I throw decent sized swimbaits most of the time. Is there anything north of here worth checking out? Should i drive south to fish if I'm chasing 6lbs+ ? Maybe Im missing something thats right in front of me?
TLDR: If you were a bank fisherman chasing a PB where would you put in your time?
I don't have a boat or yak, bank only for now. Will prob get a yak soon. Any direction or pointers much appreciated!!!! Thanks all!

There was a Share Lunker caught out of Town Lake in McKinney a few years back. I have seen a few nice ones pulled from there.
Personal Record: 8 pounds 10 ounces Personal Goal: 10 pounds +
