I have been on Folk a hand full of times with no issue. My question is it work buying a lane chip vs just using the buoys on the lake? If i remember correctly, the buoys don't go into many arms/coves very far which means a lot of idle time for people like me that do not like to take chances.

I know for sure there are 2 buoys that have drifted from their location. Get the lanes and be extra sure.

There are more than just 2.... running the buoys is gonna be expensive for someone by the end of the summer.

OR...you two could just tell everyone which ones they are and save that expense for someone! (Just a thought)

Even Lance's chip will get you in trouble on parts of the lake. Especially between the pump house and Dale.

Valid point but I didn't stop and mark them. I run off of my own trails and/or Lance's chip.

I know one of them is between the 154 bridge and 515 East just as you make the turn. Its about 50 yrds to the right. Its very obvious its out of line.

Yes this one and one running into Glade. It’s a frequent occurrence for them to be off and a full time job for anyone who wants to keep track.

Is this because Solix rounds off the boat lanes when they are tracks?

Another one that is a bit off is in the main lane on the LFC side around the powerlines. At this level, that one isn't bad but there are another couple headed into the Mustangs that could be off.
