Does anyone else do this? Chartruese is popular and I've seen some orange for crawfish imitation. https://youtu.be/2Pl04Nf2RBY?t=712

I use it in fall and early spring...once the bluegills start their spawn I use chartreuse.

One of my primary finesse presentations is a Zoom Finesse Green Pumpkin Magic worm with the tail dipped in red. It is a giant killer for sure. I have caught numerous over 5's on this bait. I use it on a Spot Remover head, a Rugby head or a regular Shaky head. When my other presentations don't produce this is my go to. If I need that limit fish I will take this one out. Why don't I use it all of the time? Other baits consistently produce bigger fish or fish are in the mood for a moving bait.

My dad’s secret weapon on Amistad was a pumpkinseed senko, with the head dyed red.

Look, let's not give this guy to much credit for the red. People been doin that for a long time. He was on the right fish and he fished them well all week. Kudos to him but let's tap the brakes that this is a new breakthrough.

Yes. I use red spike it more than chartruese these days. If t-rigging a senko I dye the head red when I need an extra boost of "confidence"

I use blue more than the red.
