Chicken wings are not the problem. Anyone can survive without chicken wings, except maybe the chicken. It’s everything else…and I mean everything else. I cannot really think of much that hasn’t gone up in price since the Biden regime took over. It is just the beginning. Wait till interest rates start to rise. My uncle works for Ben E. Keith, we had a big discussion over the weekend about chicken wings. He said he would absolutely not be buying chicken right now the way it is. Said it starts at the chicken farms where there's no shortage of birds, but the farms don't have the employees to get them packaged on the truck, then there's no trucks, the ones that are there, are charging more for fuel costs, etc. etc. etc... Said there's lots of folks with the goods, but no way to get it out the door onto the road.

Yup and that applies to lots of stuff, Ben E Kieth has done a good job trying to stay ahead compared to some other vendors I have dealt with. I actually feel sorry for my rep when he calls me twice a week to discuss substitutions and outs. On the upside most customers are aware of the supply chain issues and are understanding, jpurdue has been focused on covid charts and his costas and has missed the memo to this point. I suspect he went full Karren on the manager but he wont admit it. Lol

We have a very large Pilgrims Pride processing plant here in town. They have cut shifts because they cannot find workers. They have offered signing bonuses and raised starting wage and still cannot compete with our own government. The government has been paying people more to sit on their porch and drink than Pilgrims can pay for an honest day of work.

Unemployment benefits have ended and the hiring issues continue. Do you think the people that were subsidized by Biden saved enough money to not work for a month or 2? I think there is more to it.

If they want chicken wings they are gonna have to go back sooner or later, food stamps aren't gonna cover a 10 piece.

This is why I hunt and fish. I don't care what the stores want to charge, I have a freezer full of game and fish and come fall I will be restocking it. You are only a sheep is you choose to be a sheep.
