Nope, it might cost her a little for a cereal box endorsement or such if she was to have won a gold. This just means she'll turn pro immediately instead of after the Olympics and start making the big bucks with bookings at marquee money events and sponsorship endorsements now. The Olympic gold medal has very little clout now with making more money in track and field. If you're fast like she is, wins in pro events is what brings home the bacon in track and field and future endorsements. Now in gymnastics, it's a little different!

That’s a little harsh. We all made misguided, foolish mistakes at 20 years old; hers just happens to be a really big one, but no one got physically hurt. She has some maturing to do, and judging by her honest, responsible apology, I think she will be fine.

4. It's not performance enhancing so I'm not sure why the Olympics would even be testing for it.
5. Do you know what is performance enhancing? Women with actual penises in weight lifting competitions.

She knew the rules...and messed up. Life's a bit** and then you die...:) On the flip side however it just shows the hypocrisy about pot. It's going to be taken off the schedule 1 drug list by the Feds in a couple of years...I'll bet good money on it.

We can compare stereotypes for the two vices. Let's see drunks. Loud, obnoxious, always wanting to fight over something, can't drive, too stupid to realize they shouldn't be driving, usually not worth a F at work the day after drinking, booze breath, I won't even get into the long list of health issues that drinking causes.

But yeah, stoner are the bad ones. What would I know as an almost 50 year old stoner. With zero health issues, high energy drive,, in better shape than most of my coworkers younger than me. Most of which are heavy drinkers, with consistently poor attendance. Shall we go into the wonderful world of pharmaceuticals next? How about all their awesome side effects?
