Morning boys,

Was thinking about taking the Mrs. out tonight on EM (cause we live here, otherwise I hate this lake!) but was wondering if anyone has pinpointed any evening sandies? There are a few humps that I knew of from last year, but wasn't sure if they are still there or have moved elsewhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tight Lines!

My best spot that I’ve found while running my last few guided trips on EM has been the very shallow hump about a mile NNW of the island. I’m seeing the best numbers come from 8-15ft, with my best bait being a Two Timer rig from Constant Pursuit Outfitters. After it gets good and dark, I’ve also been finding really good numbers of big fish under dock lights in 8-12ft, using White Hot Thump Buddies on 1/16 ounce unpainted heads.

Good video, Thx., EM has been a great sand bass lake for a long time . Time of day or night can be an issue.

About three or four docks down from Augies, there is one dock that always holds them. Has green lights at the end. I used to throw my cast net there for shad in the evenings and mornings, but lately it's been stacked with Sandies.
