There were at least 3 regions then, Metroplex, East Texas, South Texas.
Trevor Romans and his partner won 2 divisions and I think Stocker won the South region.

Also the last line the championship was there the lake was at 20.1% full right now it is at 53%.

In 2009, Stoker and Stone won. 4 Regions, 2 Championships
In 2010, 4 Regions, 2 Championships.

Joe was meaning there were two regions in the Ivie championship and not four, they had four regions and two championships. It was a regular season tournament in 2011 was 20% (not even sure %correct) and had 159 teams, that was the last time they were here.

I fished that one, was trailer event, it fished a little small then. Most of the usual spots you had 15 boats around you.

So 2 other tournaments that same weekend?

As of Friday Permian wasn’t moving their tournament and plan on being here, 30-40 boats and they don’t have a flighted start so they will be on the water while champs is unloading and they will go out of Elm Creek. The other tournament is considering moving but not certain yet and they could have double the amount if not more. That’s why no one could get rooms here at the lake because they had been booked for months.

They got theirs, LOL .

If you are holding it on a lake with limited accommodations, the only sensible thing to do is let your anglers know early enough so they can book rooms.

Actually gave them four months which is a good amount of time they just weren’t planning on others being here, especially with a limited amount of rooms. Booking every room at the hosting marina took good amount of rooms, Coleman county chamber paying them and going out of Concho County boat ramp was interesting as well.

rent an rv and haul it down there. I fished one of the champs championships down there and one of us hauled an RV, and one hauled the boat.

That could be an option if the windmill people are gone, that’s kinda limited right now.

I have a feeling that if you don't want to drive 100 miles on the morning of the tournament you will be sleeping with the snakes .LOL

There are multiple places to stay within 50 miles of the lake. Don't seem much different than any other tournament that we fish.

I don’t know about you but when I’m looking for rooms I don’t consider 50 miles out as finding a room.

Do you think the locals will care as much if Bass Champs invades their territory like the Sixth Sense Boys did back in Feb?
