Same here in N Arlington. Lots more BOOMS this year than ever before, and I've lived here for over 29 years. Most of them quit about midnight but some were still going when I was finally able to go to sleep about 1:00 a.m.

Life is precious. We don’t have forever. We have now. This moment. We can choose to love our lives now.

There will be plenty of the good stuff in the area regardless.

IMO the neighborhood fireworks shows have gotten out of hand. Not speaking of ones that live outside city limits where it is legal but the ones having a true show in high density suburban areas. I don’t mind black cat firecrackers or normal bottle rockets but ones near us were firing off the high end rockets that were major loud to me those should be outlawed. There are plenty of city ran firework shows for the major noise makers.

Went on from 8:30 til well after 1am. Big booming high flyers.
Semiauto pistol fire started about midnight and continued til I fell asleep.
Total lawlessness.
Can’t image the amount of trash in the streets this morning.

A recent study shows that the amount spent on fireworks is inversely correlated to the IQ of the purchaser.
