Stuckey's

When we traveled back when I was a kid stopping at Stuckey's was a big deal.

Stuckey’s is back under family control. The granddaughter (or maybe daughter, I can’t recall which) of the founder bought the company back a couple of years ago, and she’s working her tail off to bring it back to what it once was.

Way back when…I thought Pizza Hut was good.

Now, their pizza will render a maggot sick at 100 paces.

Bob, ours has a $5.99 all you can eat lunch…just across from a university…and it is always empty. Even college kids won’t eat it.

Ours is delivery or carry out only. Buffets are always suspect.

Lubys hasn't changed. Same old. Made from scratch food. Desserts are mostly made in house but some of the things were prepped in Houston and delivered biweekly.

I had not been to bueno in 10+ years. Tried it a few weeks ago and it was decent.

Around these parts Bueno is considered gourmet mexican fast food. It's either that or taco hell, I would give my left nut for A Taco Cabana or Rosas.

Chili's on Greenville Ave the original location I thought was really outstanding. From that point on the decline started IMO
