Sitting in our front yard looking out over Wheeler Branch Reservoir(Glen Rose) waiting for the big fireworks show Somervell County puts on every year thinking how blessed we are to live in a country where we are truly free. Free to work, follow Christ, fish, retire, enjoy a picnic w/family on Independence Day, vote….. Even had a military fly over that went right over our house on their way to and from the Cleburne Railroaders baseball stadium! Remember where our freedoms came from and who sacrificed to make this possible! Happy 4th!!!!! Neil.

I'm proud to be an American. When people on TV or anywhere else start talking about what's wrong with this country I always wish I could ask them to name one that's better. If we're so bad why is half the world trying to come here?
