Heading to Lake Granbury next week for the first time. Any tips on bass fishing there and anything to watch out for while boating there.

BRA just said they’ll likely open a gate at PK in the coming week, keep an eye out for debris in the lake. This time of year I put in early and get out early or you’ll be over run by wake boats and jet fleas, both at the ramp and on the lake. Either that or fish at night. Granbury has been a tough lake for me, if you can get on a pattern you can catch em good but it changes daily. With the rain and upcoming release I’d be throwing darker colors, likely to be chocolate milk this time next week. Usually when the lake gets like that I’ll junk fish til I find a few things they’ll eat and just cover as much water as I can. A plopper or buzzbait ought to get you started
