I turn 40 this year and am currently in physical therapy for my right shoulder I messed up weight lifting when I was 21 bang

I know it will eventually end up at surgery but not sure when. Didn’t have insurance when I was 21 and just rubbed some dirt on it for a few months.

I have neuropathy in both feet (starting to get some in the hands now ) . Have arthritis in one foot from breaking it 30+ years ago . I'll be walking along just fine ( although numb) when all of a sudden it feels like I stepped on a hot nail and I do my "Granpa McCoy dance" .

I'm Type II and glucose levels are fine but I haven't seen much improvement in the neuropathy .

I only mention this because 1) you asked and 2) a.buddy I mentioned it to thought it was the funniest thing he had ever heard. My latest "what the heck is that?" pain is a sudden spasm and locking in my back while I wipe my butt. It's dang near brought me to tears but I have to sit there all contorted and wait for the spasm to subside before I can straighten out. It's quite Inconvenient

Learned to live with most of the osteoarthritis pain, it was the patellar tendonitis that gave me a wide ride last fall. It started with an attack every 6-8 hours the first day, then about every hour the second day, then the third day it was every 15 minutes, then it would go away for about a week, then kick in again. Most intense pain I have ever had, but it would only last for about 2 to 3 minutes. It would hit hard and sudden. Hope to never have that one again.

May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

I was having really sharp pains in my left lower backside , went on for about three days --- then the start of an insane rash ---- turns out I am enjoying a severe case of Shingles ---so much fun -- I can't believe that I haven't looked forward to this my whole life !!!
Not currently taking any meds for it . I have read that Calamine lotion and/or cortisone cream can help ?
