I usually focus more on redfish, blackdrum, sheepshead, Pompano, trouts and so on, but this trip I went focused on shark fishing as I never got a shark over 4 feet. And man it turns out to be a great experience and I think I'm now hooked on shark fishing lol
I did have several runs where the sharks managed to either bust the line or even the steel leader. But at last, I was able to land this beautiful healthy 5.4 ft shark

Thats awesome man! Im from a ways off from the coast but my favorite thing to do is some land based shark fishing, just don't get to much at all. Trying to make a trip to PINS before school starts back up. Hoping to get one one I can consider big myself lol! Congrats!
