I bought my truck 2 years ago brand new and paid $59,000 cash out the door. It's a 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4. I sold it yesterday to a GMC dealership here in Dallas for $56,500. The truck has over 42,000 miles on it. This market is crazy... Now is a better time than ever to sell your truck. Luckily my new job is giving me a car, so I have no reason to own a car anymore.

but when you need a new one you better be ready to pay the fiddler...………. I priced a brand new one yesterday and it was bad. Actually less than I was expecting and compared to used prices not near as volatile. Can have the truck I am considering in a week or two. Pretty surprised it was as simple as it was.

I tried 3 GMC dealerships to order my wife a new Yukon XL and none of them even cared. Finally found one that wanted my business, vehicle is on order. I'm on my 3rd Ford dealership trying to get confirmation on when the hell I can order a 2022 F250, no one responds. It is so dumb out there.

My neighbor has family, I think I’m the Tennessee area, and was just visiting. He said he drove by a stadium that had the parking lot almost completely full of brand new vehicles. They are all sitting there waiting on chips.

I'm sure youre aware of it, but i wanted to point this out if anyone missed it
you're comparing an out the door price (after tax, title and license) to a dealer purchase price on your car. They paid no tax, title or license. The crazy fact is your 59000 out the door price had a sales price lower than $56500. The out the door number on $56500 is just shy of 61k.
They literally paid you more for it than you paid them

I sold my 17 Laramie 1500 4x4 for 3k more than I paid for it last week.. not complaining there lol
