Taking a few buddies out to go try and chase whites this weekend. I thought about heading to Chambers, but figured I'd ask...where is the best place to put some inexperienced guys on a good white bass bite in the Ellis county area? Joe Pool crossed my mind as well, but I have no idea if they opened the ramps again or not. Cedar Creek maybe?

Thanks for any advice.

Ramps are open @ Joe Pool state park & Lynn Creek. RC is always a good bet. Look for the birds south of 287 & if no birds fish main lake deep points /humps. They should find you!

Lake Clark in Ennis has some big sand bass. Go out by the deepest water by the dam(away from the THICK grass).
