Than watching pros catch smallmouth while staring at their graphs for hours. Stare, hook fish, reel in, stare hook fish, reel in. This is the most boring fishing TV there is IMO.

I tend to watch less coverage when BPT and BASS hit the Northern swing part of the season. The anglers love it though and it must appeal to some fans that relate more to it.

Watching a guy catch 165lbs of fish in a day make me realize how boring my fishing days are....

That way of fishing can be boring to watch but it is fun doing it. I find that watching the northern swing can be fun if you look at the why's and where's they are fishing that area. Plus, it has taught me to not worry about small waves, them guys are fishing some pretty tough wave action there.
I think i can relate it to maybe watching NASCAR. If you just watch the cars turn left all the time it's boring. But if you are thinking about how they might can pass another car, are their tires wearing out, how much gas is left, when to pit. It gets more exciting and adds to just watching a car turn left.
If I'm not fishing, I'll watch fishing, I just love the art of fishing.

All I know is I need to take a trip up North for a smallie trip like this...200+ lbs in days is impressive as hell! I enjoy all formats and watching fishing for either circuits makes my days go by faster.
