Anyone have luck with cut bluegill? I’ve tried it several time and have had zero luck.

I have caught fish using bream. I especially like to use a head piece for cut bait. To me, it is a big fish bait. I like using live bream too. They are much heartier than shad and will live a long time on the hook...

If you're on fish, they'll eat it.

Outstanding bait. Channel Cats love them! hooked

Side Note: Even though I have caught both Blue and Yellow Cats off of cut Bluegill, seems both the Blue Cats and Yellow Cats love live Bluegill so much better! Just my two cents. 2cents

I love cut bluegill. I have fished it next to shad and had it out produce the shad. Stays on the hook well. Easy to get from local ponds. Its a winner IMO. Now... its no Jello chicken, but its a good one. smile

The head is a favorite bait for blues for me.

There have been times it's outfished shad for me, both cut and live.
