Here is our latest video on how we drift ledges. I added some graph pics and also explain what we’re doing. Hope y’all enjoy. Let me know what y’all think. [video:youtube][/video]

Nice my friend!
Love seeing Jaxon learn. Love the graph pic's seeing me learn. LOL
I also need to learn patience... you said you scanned for an hour to find the right spot with a lot of fish. I know I am too quick to go to a few spots I know I can usually pick up a few, and just put rods out. Lack of time to fish, makes me get in a hurry, want to get it done!

Thanks amigos! We’re having a blast . Jax has learned a lot but he’s taught me a lot too. Very blessed to have him as my little fishing buddy. He’s a rough and tough little Texas tornado but I wouldn’t have it any other way. If your not getting bit Ken then go scan. When I was first Learning side image, on days I couldn’t catch fish or find fish I would just scan and learn. I would look at different structure in different areas of the lake and I would spend time scanning. Sometimes I would just troll around for miles, in and out of coves, creek channels, across points, through Boulder field, in timber areas, across submerged road beds scanning the whole time. I did this year round and eventually I started to put together the puzzle. When I saw something that looked concentrated or good I would stop and fish it. I floated around like an idiot quit a bit but eventually I got it figured out Ken. On days where your really catching them good, Scan your area when your done fishing and take mental notes of what your seeing on the graph.

That is something that I need to do for sure!
I have put out some pvc crappie trees, that do not show up much on sonar, and left a float on them, and then went back and scanned over them and beside them to see where they were showing up on my sonar and when... and gps marked them also.
Need to do some of that with my blue cat fishing.

Thanks Fredo. Finally getting a little more comfortable with the videoing part. Next on my list of things to get is a better camera. I have a go pro 8 but it’s just not user friendly enough for me and I get so freakin mad at that thing! I miss too much good stuff when using it and it puts me in a terrible mood. I gotta have a flip screen so that I can see that the camera is actually on and videoing. I lost so many big fish last fall fumbling with the go pro that eventually I quit using it all together. My camera on my iPhone is my main camera now but half the day my son is on it so I can only video half our trip. I want a camera that is as easy to use as my iPhone. Here is a camera that I’m thinking about getting for making videos. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FXPY6SF/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_3?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

I know how you feel bro I have a GoPro 8 too and I have lost a couple of nice fish messing with mine LOL.... That looks like a camera that could definitely work for the sort of things that we do
