I don't know how I've managed to survive this long without this thing. Bought the 36" and cooked dinner on it last night and breakfast on it this morning.
Burgers, fried taters and street corn last night. Bacon, eggs, hash browns and pancakes this morning.
So freaking good.

What are you cooking on your flat top?

I bought the tail gate model. It so freakin awesome for camping. We cooked on it everyday in Red River a couple weeks ago. It cooks everything. Love it

I'm curious as to what else you can cook on this. I'm so close to buying one but my buddy said it's breakfast, fajitas or fried rice and that's all he knows how to cook on it.

Burgers, and lots of sliced pork belly!

I love my Blackstone.

You can do regular steak too. Shrimp. Anything hibachi.

How’d you prep/cook the fried taters?

Thanks a lot Jeff. Wife and grandson just asked 2 days ago why I don’t have one…Momma saw this post and said “see I told you we needed one”. Guess I’m going shopping… We love cooking outdoors. $$$$ thumb

Keep looking forward. That’s why windshields are larger than rear view mirrors.

Cut fresh taters in about 1/2" wedges. Put em on the Blackstone under some avocado oil. Added S&P and toss. About halfway through the cook, added some parmesan ranch seasoning. Add more avocado oil to keep them sizzling a bit. They brown up really nicely.

Neat. Thx. Good to know you don’t need to boil them 1st to soften

Smashburgers. 5 oz balls of 85/15. Salt and pepper one end and place that side down on got griddle. After that cooks for a bit, turn it to the opposite end and smash. The first step keeps it from sticking to the smash utensil. It goes fast so I only do one or two at a time. Burgers are thin, flat, wide and good even if not eaten right away. Other stuff, shrimp skewers. Peel shrimp and coat with avocado oil and seasoning of choice. Chupacabra is good. Skewer and cook on griddle.

Smash burgers, chicken thighs for tacos, you could wear a steak pretty easy on one. My in laws have one and I love it.
