Had a trip planned with Doc today, but he was feeling under the weather & had to cancel. Water temp is up there...mid to high 90s depending on where you go. Lake is back down to normal full pool...not over the docks any more. Had a little rain on the trip this morning, but it was gone by the time I launched at 6:30 am. Really nice day...wind out of the north & not too hot. Ended up with a couple hunnerd, and kept 12 for the pan. Also had 5 bass, but they were pretty small. All fish caught on Gulp Alive minnows in various colors...didn't matter. Ended up breaking the selfie stik in half today...not sure how, so missed most of the afternoon shots. Did get some video, but not sure when I will have time to download and edit. Have to go to Indiana all next week for wifes family reunion, so if you go next week, leave me a few for when I get back... cheers [Linked Image]

Thanks Chuck, Alan & Barry.
Leo & Yesenia...I just coat them in egg & milk...then dip them in a mixture of corn meal & Zatarains (50/50) & pan fry in Canola oi. I like the whole fish...especially the skin, tail & fins fried crispy.

Nice post and fish Vogey. As always awesome job. woot

Side Note: Two of my fishing buddies fished Fayette last week. I had to work. bang They both had fished Fayette several times over the past year. They did pretty good. Caught good numbers of Bluegill and several nice bass in the 2 to 4 pound range. Small crank baits and Gulp Alive Leaches on a drop shot did the trick. coolio

Another fine Fayette post! Good job Vogey.

Side Note: A friend of mine fished for bass last week and said that Oak Thicket had made some improvements. Good news for sure. He also caught plenty of bass with the biggest around 5 pounds.
