Doing my annual summer week at Bob Sandlin while my kids at are church camp, camp deer run. Older one staying the night, my younger just goes for the day. So I drop him off and dad get to play!! Been easy catching of BS white bass mags. If I find a small batch and not that aggressive, the DC Mepps way #4 catches them with ease. When they are stacked thick, kids can jump in and swim and anything you throw with a hook on it will catch em. Catchin depth has been 13-19 FOW. Fishing main lake humps and ridges. Quiet good white bass lake out east here and rivals tawakoni white IMO… crappie has been great as well. 18-22 fow. Find some sunken brush or trees and a nibble and jig will catch all u want. Big slabs. 12-16 inchers. Eye candy….
